Customize your Dashboard

Add reports with Add report, arrange them in Edit mode, and switch the range of every card at once with the range pill. Removing a card never deletes the report behind it.

Where to find itDashboardEdit

The Dashboard is desktop only. Dragging and resizing need a window wider than 1,100 pixels.

Add a card

  1. Click Add report at the top right.
  2. In Add report to dashboard, choose Create new report to open the Report Builder, pick one of your saved reports (each is tagged Line, Bar, Donut, Sankey, Metric or Table), or Start from a template.
  3. The new card goes in the first free spot.

Arrange and resize

  1. Click Edit. The grid lines appear and each card gets an accent outline.
  2. Drag a card to move it. Drag an edge or corner to resize it. Cards in the way move down.
  3. Using the keyboard: focus a card, then use the arrow keys to move it and Shift + arrow keys to resize it.
  4. Click Done to save the layout.
  • Between 769 and 1,100 pixels wide the dashboard follows your desktop arrangement and drag and resize are off. A note says so in Edit mode.
  • In a window 768 pixels wide or narrower, cards stack in one column, and Edit mode gives each card up, down and Remove buttons.

The card menu

Hover a card and click ⋯:

Open in builder
Opens the report in the Report Builder. Clicking the card itself does the same.
Duplicate
Makes a copy called "{name} (copy)" and adds it to the dashboard.
Change range
This month, Last 3 months, Last 6 months, Last 12 months or All time. This changes the saved report.
Remove
Takes the card off the dashboard straight away (in Edit mode, when you click Done). The report itself is kept and you can add it back.

Switch every card at once

The range pill at the top reads Each report's own by default. Pick This month, 3M, 6M or 1Y and every card shows that range. A card's time bucket only changes when it would not fit the range (for example a monthly card shows days for This month, and a daily card shows weeks for 6M or 1Y). Cards then carry a small "page range" flag.

  • The pill does not change your saved reports. Switch back to Each report's own to see each one's saved range.
  • This browser remembers your choice.
  • If the pill is on and you use Change range on a card, the card's saved range changes, and the menu tells you so.

Delete a report for good

  1. Open the Report Builder tab.
  2. Click Load.
  3. Click Delete next to the report and confirm.

A card whose report was deleted reads "This report no longer exists". Click Remove to clear it.

Common questions

Does Remove delete my report?

No. It only takes the card off the dashboard. Delete reports from the Report Builder with Load, then Delete.

Why can't I drag cards?

Dragging and resizing need a window wider than 1,100 pixels and Edit mode turned on.

Does the range pill change my saved reports?

No. Change range in a card's menu does; the pill only changes what you see.
